We Aren't Your Grandparents Wrestling Company
After the faltering of multiple wrestling company's in today's climate, NAPW built a full head of steam after the successful acquisition of Channel 21 Sports by Jerry Allen, a business man, who put the young Wesley Greene at the helm of the channel. Wesley quickly hired Mark Shemwell, a 28 year old wrestling guru that singlehandedly brought in 87% of the wrestling viewership in the Mid-South region toward his project, and Wesley believes Mark can make lightning strike twice but on a much bigger, and now global, scale. NAPW is based out of Evansville, Indiana, with its opening show taking place at The Ford Center.

The Road to a New Age begins! |
Starting in 3 weeks, NAPW will bring "Delirium" every other week to Channel 21 Sports. This format is new and revolutionary, as we add new content we will not be cramming it into a weeks worth of television, but instead have 2 weeks to play with. We could add 4 different shows (or as they had been called in the past, "brands") and it would only equate to 2 shows a week, or 4 hours of content for you to digest. This makes each show must see, ready to watch, top quality content as well, since it will give our roster members time to recuperate from their matches and minimize injury from over performance.
Mark Shemwell
Mark Shemwell, born July 30th, 1993, started training at the age of 14 and became a professional wrestler at the age of 16 in states in the Mid South like Illinois and Indiana, working for very notable promotions like IWA: MS, SNPW, Wildcat Wrestling, NFW, and many more. By age of 20, he started helping his local company start booking at certain spots on the card, such as the tag teams and the lightweights. After a few successful months of asking for forgiveness rather than permission, he became a big locker room leader and was promoted to assistant booker.
By age 23, he was contacted by another company, RPW based out of Evansville, Indiana that ran shows in 4 different states, and was asked to become the promoter and booker of the company so the owner could spend more time with his family. After a short 3 years, Mark had a TV deal that spanned from North-Eastern Texas to Maryland, from Ohio down to Georgia, and was drawing in massive ratings. Soon after, RPW was #1 in sports for 21 consecutive weeks on the local TV ratings, and out of everyone who watched wrestling in this area, a record high of 87%, a rough estimation of 2.35 million people, were watching RPW instead of the competition. The average amount of wrestling viewership RPW recieved between 2017 and 2020 was 54%. This feat shouldn't be scoffed at, as 2017 was the first year of the deal Mark penned and only received a high of 27% or roughly 650,000 people. If this year is left out of the equation, the average between 2018 and 2020 was 67%, or roughly 1.77 million people.
In December of 2020, Mark Shemwell announced his departure from the booking staff to his now 1.3 million followers on twitter, but stated he was to continue wrestling for the promotion for the foreseeable future. In March of 2021, it was announced he had signed a deal with Channel 21 Sports, who owns every channel 21 in every TV company in existence to date, to put on a professional wrestling show for the new regime of Wesley Greene, a die-hard wrestling, football, and baseball fan. Mark Shemwell's only competition had been bought out by Jerry Allen at the written request of Wesley Greene. The only competition New Age Pro Wrestling will be up against is other sports the channel has acquired to air as well. In a statement made by Wesley Greene to VNN, Greene said "I have so far been approved of one full guaranteed year of airing New Age Pro, but I have been told that if the numbers are underwhelming compared to the NFL and the MLB games we will air, it may become only an internet thing that isn't connected to Channel 21 Sports. So the success of this is critical for more viewership and for reaching as many homes as possible. However, I fully intend on keeping New Age Pro Wrestling running even if it gets dropped by the network, I will fine tune the app until it's the best thing that it can be, and that's all I can do."

This is just the beginning of a completely new and exciting age of wrestling.
Why We Are NAPW:
The wrestling industry had been on a decline for years when the big dog in town wasn’t signing talent that they didn’t create, in turn leaving talented and captivating individuals on their own. The multi-billion acquisition of Channel 21 Sports by multi-billionaire Jerry Allen signaled the beginning of the end for the “big dog” of WWE. Jerry then preceded to buy the WWE and AEW for the video libraries they had and put together the best roster we could while keeping the talent to strictly the best of the crop for our plans. NAPW also created a smaller “feeder system” company mainly to keep those we believe are talented employed with us while we get up and running. There is a great possibility that the wrestlers in the feeder system will come up to the main roster but as of now we need and want to establish ourselves first. Even though we have some stars from WWE and AEW, we still did sign some of the top stars that were wrestling over the world today, and we got to build them up first as well so we do not become like those that fell before us.
